Monday is a mental health benefit that helps employers build healthier organizations. We offer their employees a better way to find and book appointments with the right mental health providers.
How does it work?
Just tell us what you're looking for, via your organization’s portal, and we'll help you find an affordable, high-quality therapist that meets your needs. We'll take care of all the tedious work, so that you can focus on what really matters.
Why is Monday better than scheduling an appointment myself or through other booking sites?
We offer a machine-powered concierge with a human touch to save you time, energy, money, and make sure you get the best provider for your needs. Finding an affordable provider with near-term availability can be time-consuming, complicated and frustrating – especially while dealing with a mental health issue. By navigating the system for you with our knowledge of the mental health providers in your community, we are able to match you with providers that are more likely to be a good fit for you.
How much does Monday cost?
Monday is entirely free for patients. Our mission is to remove the many barriers that prevent people from receiving quality, affordable mental healthcare – not add more.
How does Monday save me money?
Price shopping in healthcare is difficult, especially when insurance is involved. We understand how to navigate co-pays, sliding scales and out-of-network benefits, so that you won’t be hit with a surprise bill. Tell us what your budget is and we’ll work to find you a provider that will be affordable without sacrificing quality. And you’ll know how much your visit costs before you go.
What providers are part of your network and available for matching?
We provide matches from every available provider in your community. This ensures that you will see a provider who will be the best fit for you, and not just one that's in our network.
We also integrate and partner with the highest quality providers, across a broad range of budgets, specialties and capabilities to get you to your appointment as quickly as possible. We're constantly partnering with additional providers so that we can help you find the best possible match.
Is Monday a healthcare provider?
No, we do not make any type of clinical judgments nor do we diagnose you. We are here to help you navigate the confusing and frustrating mental healthcare system, while supporting the critical relationship between you and your provider.

How long will it take for me to see a therapist?
We strive to match you with a provider as soon as possible, without cutting any corners. You will hear back from us with personalized therapist recommendations as soon as possible. Once you've chosen the therapist(s) you're interested in meeting with, we will work with the therapist to confirm your appointment. The timing of your appointment is dependent on your schedule as well as provider availability. If you have a more urgent need (e.g. need to see a therapist within 24 hours or less), please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How do you match me with a therapist who will be a good fit?
First, we make sure that we meet your logistical criteria, such as cost, availability, and distance. Then we look at the provider’s areas of specialization and experience, and try to match them up with your needs. Finally, as we work more with each provider, we get a better sense of the types of patients that each provider does particularly well with and apply that to our matches.
Can you guarantee that I will be able to see a provider that meets all of my criteria?
We will do our best to satisfy all of your requests. If there is no available provider in your area that meets all of your criteria, we will follow up with other suitable options and note where they don’t match your request.
What if I don’t know what I should be looking for?
It’s absolutely no problem if you don’t – that’s why we’re here! Let us know when you submit your form and we can answer any questions to help you decide on what’s important to you.
How will I know when an appointment has been booked?
We will let you know by email once your appointment has been confirmed. We'll send along all the appointment details too.
What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
We understand that schedules change and things come up. However, we strongly encourage you to make it to your scheduled appointment when possible. Making it to your appointment is the most important step in getting the care you need. Additionally, no-shows hurt providers and makes it harder for other patients to access care. If a change or cancellation is required, please let us know as soon as possible and we will take care of it for you, including booking another appointment for you if needed.
What happens if my therapist cancels or reschedules my appointment?
We will let you know as soon as possible and work to reschedule you with the same or a different provider at a time that is convenient for you. We take cancellations and rescheduling very seriously, and any provider who has a history of not honoring appointments will be removed from our system.
What if I don’t like the therapist you matched me with?
We’ll work with you until you find a therapist you’re happy with. Personal fit and rapport are critical in establishing a strong patient-provider relationship and achieving positive outcomes. If it doesn’t feel right to you, simply let us know after your appointment and we’ll figure out how to make it better.
What if I have questions or need help after you’ve matched me with a therapist?
We’re happy to be a resource for you whenever you need us. Just reach out to us and we’ll see what we can do.
How many times do I need to see my therapist?
That is entirely up to you and the clinical judgement of your therapist. Many patients find that weekly therapy for three to twelve months is needed to achieve a positive outcome, while others may need only a few appointments to overcome their challenges. Therapy is a process that takes time and commitment to truly pay dividends. However, everybody is different and your own needs may differ.
What type of information do you share with other parties?
We will only share your information with providers that we book appointments with. That information includes your name, insurance plan and symptoms. This information is required to book an appointment.
Does my employer know when I use Monday Health?
No, we do not share any individual personal information with employers.
Do you store any of my personal information? If so, how will it be protected?
We store your personal information securely in compliance with HIPAA and all other applicable privacy regulations.
Can you destroy my personal information if I ask?
Of course. We will promptly destroy any personal information we receive from you upon request.
